ABOUT ROB:

Rob Dickinson is an Argentine-born, multifaceted musician and actor shaped by stays in London and New York, his talent leading to performances with Charly García, Calamaro and Vox Dei, both in recording sessions and onstage.  Rob has been permeated by the freshness and tradition of English rock (Byrne, Gabriel, Bowie).  His exposure to Shakespeare’s Sonnets inspired him to compose melodies for them, which are sung with his characteristic cavernous, penetrating voice- leading to what can best be described as a new genre, materialized in Rob’s recording of ‘The Sonnets’- its first track available here and his new theatre production   Shakespeare SONNETROCK currently on tour at Theatres and Bilingual Schools.
